How do I prepare my docking station for use?

With your new docking station, you can easily connect multiple devices to your laptop.
This guide will guide you through the steps to get your docking station ready for use.
Follow the instructions below to ensure that your docking station is set up correctly and functioning optimally.
Step 1: Connect the power adapter to the docking station
- Make sure the docking station is plugged into a power outlet via the power adapter.
- This will ensure that the docking station has enough power to support all connected devices.
Step 2: Connect the docking station to your laptop
- Use the included USB-C or Thunderbolt cable to connect the docking station to your laptop.
- Insert the cable firmly into both the docking station port and your laptop’s port.
Step 3: Make sure your laptop is turned on and unlocked
- Turn on your laptop if it’s not already on.
- Unlock your laptop so it’s fully accessible to the docking station.
Step 4: Wait for your laptop to recognize the docking station
- Wait a few seconds to a maximum of 1 minute for your laptop to recognize the docking station.
- You’ll notice that external devices like monitors and keyboards start working.
Step 5: Check if connected devices are functioning correctly
- Check that all connected devices such as monitors, keyboard, mouse, and network connection are working properly.
- If everything is properly connected, these devices should function right away.
